A wood fence is a natural, customizable fence built from pressure-treated pine, with cedar available as an upgrade, and posts, rails, and pickets you can stain or seal in any finish you like. Dynamic Fence Co. installs wood privacy, picket, board-on-board, shadowbox, horizontal, and post-and-rail fences for homes and businesses across Fayetteville and the surrounding Sandhills. Wood is the fence homeowners choose when they want a classic, natural look and the freedom to customize the height, style, and color.
Every wood fence we build is set on driven no-dig posts so it stays straight and stands up to Carolina weather, and the work is backed by our triple-threat warranty against wind, frost heave, and sag, in writing. We set posts in concrete on request, install on level and sloped lots, build custom gates to match, and handle the permit and HOA paperwork from start to finish.

These are people that care and love their work. We appreciate that.Posted on Google Elizabeth OkeefeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. we hired Dynamic to install our fence recently. They did a good job overall on the fence. My biggest complaint is timing. This was supposed to be a two-day job (a Friday and Saturday). They called Thursday evening saying one of their trucks broke down so they could not come Friday. Okay. Saturday, they arrived around 9:30 am and started tear down. Sunday morning it was kind of rainy, and we were told they would be there after the storm. It stopped raining in our area around 9 am. They arrived around 1:30 they got the posts up and left a little after 4. I understand you cannot control the weather, Sunday didn't concern me. Monday, they came back to install the pickets but cut it short because their equipment died and they did not have a backup, that frustrated me because at this point our yard is still wide open and it is becoming an inconvenience to our animals and our work schedules ( one of us stayed home since we have a pool we didn't want to risk anything with that). So here we are on Tuesday, day 5 and it's finally getting completed. I understand things happen, I am not faulting them for the weather, but not having back up tools, and making this take so long when quoted 2 days was frustrating. This was a nearly $6000 job: that's a lot of money this time of year.Posted on Google Kimberly ContrerasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dynamic Fence was not only an easy choice due to their fair pricing- but their communication was clear and frequent throughout the process! Their work was fast and extremely well done! 10/10 would recommend!Posted on Google misha curtisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very happy with how the fence looks and how quickly it was put up even with the terrible cold weather we have been having. Our neighborhood is not very leveled but they managed to make the fence straight (great for my ocd lol). Deff will hire them again when we decide to expand our fence. Great communication and worked with our budget. They have some very hard working people working with themPosted on Google Vonnie DowningTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dynamic Fencing did a really good job! They broke our water line and did not hesitate to fix it, they didn’t make any excuses, took full responsibility! (How often does that happen)???? we did refer others to them.
Wood is the most customizable fence material, which is why it comes in more styles than any other. The right one depends on how much privacy you want, the look you are after, and how you use your yard. Below are the wood fence styles we build most often across Fayetteville, each built in pressure-treated pine and ready to stain or seal in the finish you choose.
Not sure which fits? On your free estimate we walk the property, talk through privacy, budget, and style, and recommend the build that matches your home and your HOA rules.
A board-on-board wood fence overlaps the pickets on alternating sides of the rail, so there are no gaps even as the wood naturally shrinks over time. It is the most durable wood privacy style and our top pick for full screening.
A shadowbox wood fence alternates pickets on the front and back of the rail, giving you privacy while letting air pass through and looking finished from both sides. A good choice when your neighbor sees the fence too.
A standard wood privacy fence sets solid pickets side by side for a clean, full-height screen at the lowest privacy-fence price. It is the straightforward option when you want privacy without the board-on-board upgrade.
A wood picket fence uses spaced pickets for the classic, open look that frames a front yard or garden without closing it off. It defines a boundary while keeping your sightlines open.
A horizontal wood fence runs the boards sideways for a modern, architectural look that stands apart from traditional vertical fences. It suits contemporary homes and makes a smaller yard feel wider.
A wood post and rail fence uses open horizontal rails to line driveways, pastures, and large properties. It marks a boundary and adds a rustic, country look without blocking the view.
We drive our no-dig posts so your wood fence stays plumb and straight through Carolina heat, rain, and storms, with concrete-set posts available on request.
Wood is the most customizable fence, and we build it your way, from board-on-board privacy to arched-top custom gates that match.
Every wood fence we install is backed by our triple-threat warranty against wind, frost heave, and sag, in writing.
You work with a local Fayetteville company that handles the permit, HOA approval, and cleanup, not an out-of-town outfit.
The cost of a wood fence depends on the grade you choose, the style, the height, the linear footage, the number of gates, and how level your yard is. Wood is usually the most affordable way to get a full privacy fence, which is why it stays so popular, and a board-on-board build costs a little more than a standard privacy fence but lasts noticeably longer. We give every Fayetteville homeowner a clear written estimate with no hidden fees, and financing is available. To get the most life out of any wood fence, plan to seal or stain it every couple of years.
Request your free estimate and we visit your property, measure the layout, handle HOA and permit questions, and send a clear written quote with no pressure.
After you approve, we pull the permit, schedule the install, and our crew drives the no-dig posts, then hangs the rails and pickets straight and true.
Your finished fence is inspected, the site is cleaned up, and your warranty is registered. You get privacy, security, and curb appeal, backed in writing.
Real wood fence installations we have completed across Fayetteville, Hope Mills, Raeford, and the surrounding Sandhills, including board-on-board, shadowbox, and custom arched-top designs.
A well-built wood fence lasts 15 to 20 years or more in our area, depending on the grade and how it is cared for. Pressure-treated pine holds up well in our climate, and sealing or staining every few years adds years to its life.
Board-on-board lasts longer for privacy. Because the pickets overlap, the fence stays gap-free even as the wood shrinks and weathers, so you keep full privacy years after a standard side-by-side fence would start to show daylight.
Yes. To get the most life from a wood fence, plan to clean and re-seal or re-stain it every two to three years. This protects the wood from Carolina sun and moisture and keeps the color looking fresh.
Yes. Wood is the most customizable material we install. We build custom heights, board-on-board and shadowbox styles, horizontal designs, arched-top panels, and matching gates to fit your property and your look.
Yes. We manage the permit and the HOA paperwork for your wood fence so you do not have to chase either one down.
Our standard wood build uses driven no-dig posts, which go in faster, avoid utility lines, and carry our triple-threat warranty against wind, frost heave, and sag. If you prefer concrete-set posts, we do that on request.
